I lopped off the end of the switch just after the third tie (third would be including the half tie at the end), I cut up a curved track just on the outside of the center (...) (...) Are you sure you really need these? (just about?) Everyone else that has done turntables has just left a 1 stud gap and everything worked out fine. The larger the radius of the table, the less trouble you'd have, I would expect. (20 years ago, 7-Apr-04, to lugnet.trains)

I'm impressed by the quality of these modifications, but can anyone direct me to anyone who's done anything simpler. I'm talking about converting the branch so that it's equivalent to two standard curves, whilst keeping it all as one piece. Making (...) (20 years ago, 7-Apr-04, to lugnet.trains)
