Re: Individual Membership enrollment now open

(...) OK, I that's understodd - I just thought this needed to be clearer. On an earlier point you mentioned "descent" (I presume you don't mean I've gone to the dark side!!!). I meant to promote discussion rather than express dissent. SteveH (21 years ago, 16-Jun-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, FTX)

Re: Individual Membership enrollment now open

(...) lugnet.trains is and will continue to be the discussion resource for world wide communication for LEGO train heads! ILTCO has no aspirations to be that and we have communicated our non-intensions to Todd specifically on this topic. The ILTCO (...)   Re: Individual Membership enrollment now open

(...) (disclaimer: I'm not on the ILTCO organizing committee) I don't think lugnet.trains is any more that gathering place than people make it, and I fully support ILTCO in their goal of becoming a resource and communication medium for LEGO train (...)   Re: Individual Membership enrollment now open

(...) All in all these hopes and aspirations sound great and I for one am keen to see it work. As a further point how do you intend to delineate between what happens on Lugnet/trains say and what happens on ILTCO? After all Lugnet/trains is the (...)   Re: Individual Membership enrollment now open

(...) Well, by rights if even one Canadian LTC is a member than that would make the organization "international";-) Even still, we already have individual members from the UK, Germany, Netherlands, and no doubt more countries on the way.   Re: Individual Membership enrollment now open

I guess John wakes up earlier than I being two time zones over. :) Thanks for the questions. We are planning to have a 6th executive member from Europe to be installed after we get through the boot strap period. I think there is a mention of this in (...) (...) I think now I should have addressed this posting to all those interested in the ILTCO ... (...) Does the ILTCO have a public discussion forum? I thought LUGNET was best whilst the ILTCO was in its genesis phase. (...) You chose to use (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, FTX)

Re: Individual Membership enrollment now open

(...) Though I am not president of the ILTCO, I was a part of the group that formed the ILTCO constitution, so I will presume to try and respond to your questions. We tried to make everything about the ILTCO as simple as we could. When you start (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, FTX)

Club Cars - Labels or Engraved?

Train Clubs Members! I am curious about the Club Cars that many of the clubs have. I am a member of the North Georgia Lego Train Club (NGLTC) and I frequently see James' impressive collection of club cars. My first question for the clubs is, "Do you (...) (...) Dear Mr President, May I ask the follwing questions concerning the constitution of ILTCO? 1. You have a huge lot of Bylaws, Policies and Procedures and TOS to get through during the joining procedure for a club who aims not to be (...) This sort of confusion does seem to be on the upswing now... not sure whether anything can actually be done to remediate it. (all (...) All the links worked for me when I previewed the post and also in the web interface to the lugnet.trains list. I believe that the spaces you are refering to might be the spaces between the <link label> pair, defined by FTX formating. Of course I am (...) (...) Not to be picky, but none of those are legal URL's. URL's are not allowed to have spaces in them - you are supposed to encode the spaces as %20. Its possible that you meant underscores, and not spaces. I didn't try all of them, but the 3 I did (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jun-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

  Individual Membership enrollment now open

Hi All, Well it's been a long road organizing ILTCO, but we're finally there! The organizing committee (OC) has been at it for 11 months, with about 2000 email messages on the OC list alone. We've had several face-to-face meetings and over 30 hours (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, FTX)
