I guess John wakes up earlier than I being two time zones over. :) Thanks for
the questions. We are planning to have a 6th executive member from Europe to be
installed after we get through the boot strap period. I think there is a mention
of this in the presentation under INFO on the ILTCO web site.
The organizing committee (OC) realized that we had to stop planning etc and
actually get the rubber on the road. We knew that there would be both support
and descent and that’s life. We knew that we wouldn’t get it perfect (bylaws,
P&P, etc) but again we could have decided to keep planning for a second year get
totally burned out (which we’re close to now) and not get anything done.
One small clarification on John’s reply, is when he says “to raise in the
ILTCO”. I believe he’s saying that once the assembly is formed by the club reps
we can address these questions in that body. Right now we are in the boot strap
phase and just have to plow through until the assembly is in place, then we can
look at issues as a group of peers (democracy), which is always more palatable
then a dictatorship.
