Hi all!

the amount of positive feedback on my first CAD-models encouraged me to do a
further model in ML-CAD now.
It took nearly 7 hours to draw the existing model of my 7-wide BR50.

Hi Ben

Many thanks for sharing the dat-files of your fine train models. I have studied
the pictures of the Br50 you have put on Bricklink many times. With access
to the dat-file it is much easier to understand the construction. I will
definitively try to make a copy of some of your models. I must say you have
learnt the different LDRAW tools very quickly. I have myself never managed to
overcome the step in order to make POV-RAY pictures.

Besides the locos I like the brown hopper a lot. I hope you will continue to
make dat-files of your models. The cute little VW Beetle would be on top of a my
wish list.

Dear Mattias,

thanks for your kind words on my MOCs and their renderings. I think with help of
the Windows based programs like L3GO it is really no big deal to work with Pov
Ray. Once one has spent so much time into the drawing of a CAD-Model, one should
not stop there. Pov-Ray takes some (often even too much) time, but the effect is
worth the efforts. I like these redered pictures a lot and have played in the
meantime for hours with the different "switches" and possibilities of lights and
perspective.

Concerning the Beetle you are lucky: Klaus "eastpole" Dobisch has already done a
building instruction for that model, since the beetle has been a workgroup
design of him and me.
That will then be his very first trial of doing an instruction. I am quite sure
he will upload the files in the next few days.

Leg Godt!

Ben

P.s.: I am not too sure if I will continue with L-Draw. It take simply too much
time.....
