    Whose Snowblower? —Jake McKee
Does anyone know whose terrific yellow snowblower/snowplow this is: (URL) would love to check out some more pics of this thing! Jake --- AFOL LUGNET Member #211 (23 years ago, 7-May-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Whose Snowblower? —Reinhard "Ben" Beneke
(...) Dear Jake, that is from Michel Brachmond. Although he is from Luxemburg he is a FGLTC member and has joined the FGLTC meetings 4 times so far (left hand in this picture). (URL) model is now built in 8-wide style but is based on a over 2 years (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-02, to lugnet.trains)

        Re: Whose Snowblower? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Technically that's a "Rotary" rather than a snowblower or a snowplow. Snowblowers and snowplows are things you mount on the front of tractors or trucks (at their very largest) and aren't used by "real railroaders". If it wasn't a rotary it (...)          Re: Whose Snowblower? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Well, ya, but the less said about that one, the better. (it just goes to your head, J2, it just goes to your head...) Seriously that one is nice because it's closer to the proper length... it actually has two trucks. I've not seen a one truck (...) (23 years ago, 8-May-02, to lugnet.trains)

         Re: Whose Snowblower? —John Neal
(...) Actually, I was a little hesitant to even offer that one up. I built it 4 years ago, modeling from a USA Trains catalog, and it's not very good (although at the time I thought it was the cat's meow;-) That is basically an example of a really (...)          Re: Whose Snowblower? —Reinhard "Ben" Beneke
(...) I'm positively amazed: really 4 years old (from the stone age of Lego modelling)? And I have to disagree: it is a very good model. I really like it and it looks perfectly like the "rotary" that has been in those years in the "Maerklin" (...) (23 years ago, 8-May-02, to lugnet.trains)

        Re: Whose Snowblower? —Will Chapman
Jake, as Larry mentioned, I have one that I made in '97 that is remarkably similar. (URL) me know if I can be of any assistance in helping you build yours. ---Will (...) (23 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.trains)

        Re: Whose Snowblower? —John Neal
Hey Will- So, it took a Snowblower header to delurk you, eh;-) I just wanted to say that about the same time LUGNET came online (Fall '97) was about the same time *I* came online and one of the first train MOCs I saw which wow'ed me was your rotary (...)         Re: Whose Snowblower? —Will Chapman
(...) Heh heh. Yep. Steve Barile mentioned the thread so I took a look. (...) It sure seems like a long time ago, eh? (...) Ack! I didn't run it through NS yet. Thanks for the heads-up. I still have a lot to add to the site. When I am ready to (...) (23 years ago, 12-May-02, to lugnet.trains)

        Re: Whose Snowblower? —John Neal
(...) It really does! (...) Yeah, good question. A while ago I would have said to the .Announce group and trains with a follow up in .trains. I'm not sure web site posts are welcome in announce any more. Anybody know the answer to that one? For sure (...) (23 years ago, 13-May-02, to lugnet.trains)

        Re: Whose Snowblower? —Ross Crawford
(...) in (...) Well, it's probably OK in .announce.moc (no follow-ups allowed), but .publish is where many seem to post web-site announcements, even though it's not really in the charter. Maybe we need .announce.website ? FUT .admin.suggestions (...) (23 years ago, 13-May-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.admin.suggestions)
