Thanks! This is nice work. As others have said, the rounded cab top is so
GP30 characteristic... between that and the humped ventilator you've nailed
the look of the engine. Very good use of SNOT and halfstud offset techniques
in this model.
Still don't think anyone has solved the railing delicacy issue yet but
that's a nice try... better than many. I am just tempted to leave side
railings off completely, they can't be done suitably lacily.

| (...) Lar, Thanks. I don't know if you remember, but I have been mulling over the idea of doing a GP30 since you suggested it some time ago. (Back when I made my 6 wide SD40-2.) At the time, we had the same discussion about railings too. That was (...) (24 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains)

I have switched from using 4 1x2x2 windows across the front (...) (24 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.trains)
