more GMLTC 'teaser' pictures —John Gerlach
I just uploaded a couple more pictures of our 'town' sections. Our completed train station: (URL) close-up of the clock tower, using official LEGO watches: (URL) another 'downtown' shot, showing a few more of our completed and in-progress buildings: (...)      (...) Nice use of the watches, I've been thinking about doing the same with one of my buildings. I need to do something with all these watches I've gotten from the Outlet store (free with $25 purchase, they add up quickly). Looking good guys, jt (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) this 10:21 (or 12:01) time that we're always stuck at! Do you have black watch face rings, though? The blue kind of jars with the very nice tan and brown color scheme of the station. How did you hold those in there, with good old arches? Some (...) (23 years ago, 22-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Those are the 1x6x2 tall arches from the Star Wars Podracer bucket. Tan tiles allow the bottom one to be inverted without too much difficulty.      (...) You know I love seeing these pictures... and you also allways seem to get a piece of rolling stock or a locomotive in the pictures. The station is looking great! I love how its got that older look to it too. The downtown is cool too, the grey (...) (23 years ago, 22-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: more GMLTC 'teaser' pictures —John Gerlach
(...) That's because we've got more 8-wide rolling stock built than we have spare space to store it! <grin> As you might be able to tell, we don't have a lot of room in Conan's basement. It's a good thing we all get along pretty well, because our (...) (23 years ago, 22-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) The tall building in the back, does it use the 'sand-red' bricks? I whave been wondering what they looked like, the shop.lego.com pictures look too pink for my taste but in that building it looks great! Is there a set that uses that colour or (...)         Re: more GMLTC 'teaser' pictures —John Gerlach
(...) Yep, it's the 'sand red' bricks, with grey and black highlights. (highdarks?) Ricky used a bunch of the bulk packs that I bought - before I even had a chance to use them! <pout> I think I'll ask him "how are you going to get my bricks out of (...)
