Does anyone happen to have a DAT file of any of the 9V train track?
Especially the straights, but also curves, switches, and cross overs.

Thanks in advance!

I found an unofficial straight track model. The weird thing was that it had
yellow conductor rails. I changed the color to light gray, and they look good.
(Other than the yellow rails, I think that they are excellent models.) I forgot
who the author is, I could check the dat file, but if no one comes up with
anything else, I could E-mail you the dat file.

Hi,

I'm the author of the unofficial 9v Straight track (version from past year
2865.dat).

Here are some notes abouth it:
The yellow metal piece came from the LDRAW FAQ that electrical contacts are
yellow.
Then there was a little discussion abouth the use of that color, witch is
replaced by chrome (color 383)in the next, more detailed verion.
This version is, considering my opinion, reddy, but i didn't wrote it on my
own this time. I got a tremendious help from Manfred Moolhuysen, who is the
co-author of the new version of the 2865.dat file. He checks if the part is
realy reddy for release.
So, if some people want it to use, contact Manfred Moolhuysen to know more
abouth the time of release. mailto:moom@chello.nl

Pictures using the NEW version of the straight track can take a look at my
home page

Hope this clear something up

I hope to co-operate with Manfred for the creation of curved track, points,
crossing. But that will take a looooong time to get reddy ;-)

Regards,
Ludo
