I was pleased to see a) that an AFOL got a pleasant, personal email from Lego Direct b) a mention about possible new trains from Lego Direct Even though the train line mention was (...) (...) Wouldn't LEGO models look more like wide gauge trains? If they were narrow, the trains would have to be the size of G scale (although something tells me we are not on the same page here). Example: If I wanted to model, say 30" gauge, I would (...) (24 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)
