  Re: new bridge

(...) Well, the limitations of the baseplate size, and the required height pretty much dictated the arches. (...) Thanks! :) Dan (24 years ago, 30-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: new bridge

Dan, It is a nice bridge, but (sorry I had to add a but) it seems that the arches are too pointy. It almost looks like the arches are gothic arches. I am more used to seeing arches that are either romanesque or flatter than romanesque (like the (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) it was built with the bricks from LD, mostly. Unfortunatly, there's no 2x3s or 1x2s or the 1x4x1 arches... so those got scarce before the building was done... Still, I'm very pleased with Jenn's design there, and it's quite sturdy... and being (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Kevin, Don't know if you had noticed, but there are 2 of part 6081 (2x4x1&1/3 brick with curved top) in gray in set 6617, Tough Truck Rally. A quick (though expensive) way to get it done. Regards, Andy Evans (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: P42DC Amtrak Loco with SOUND

Excellent model, Kevin! Nice work. I've got to check my parts now to see how close I'll come to the 40 stud drop plate you designed... I seem to recall that when I saw this P42DC Amtrak engine in person last year, the single exhaust fan that you (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Too late for the Kidvention?
