I made a small update of my pages and added some of my latest buys like 116(yeah!!), 166, 4546 and new pics of 7727 and 7730. Okay Mike, here are some pics of the GMLTC's own John Gerlach's (J-1) Hiawatha Hudson [1] that I took at our last train show. I will let him speak for his beauty:-) (URL) wheel config is actually a 4-4-4; John (J-1) can explain:-) (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: voltage question??

(...) If you cannot get any of these wheels there is another solution. I have had one of these motors since (about) 1969. The motor was overworked and abused, regularly with 12v instead of 4.5v and gave no trouble at all. I took it out of storage (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 8 Wide Dual Engine Shed

Thanks for the close-up pictures. I thought (incorrectly) that you had used some black "doors" from the castle or ninja sets or something and had mounted the black arches to those doors. The doors you "built" look very nice. I really like the shed. (...) (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: wanted: 2x2 classic windows

Hi Ben, Wrong, as I received a 352 from a seller in France that contained the single grey 2x1x2 classic window. As we both agree to how rare it is, the seller would not have just had one lying around and misread the instructions. The seller even (...)
