Check out my Union Pacific M10000

It looks like everyone has started to come out of the wood work and introduce themselves. I figured my time is past due - at least, that's what Jeremy keeps telling me. I've always been a fan of LEGO, and now I've started to explore the world of (...) (26 years ago, 14-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Train Jr?

"Matthew Bates" <train_depot@yahoo.com> wrote about the new 4553 Train Wash Equipment: (...) If it is just the track, like we think, it is fairly simple to just pop the 9V tracks and lay the 4.5 or 12V equivalents. I've done this several times in (...) (26 years ago, 14-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

"Eric Brok" <brok@fcjsvc.hvu.nl> wrote (...) Sheard crossing? What is a sheared crossing? Is it a non 90 degree crossing, like a 45/135 degree ctossing? I'm confused. Too bad Duplo trains can't run on 12V/4.5V/9V setups. Gary GaryLouie@EarthLink.Net (26 years ago, 13-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Do these elements exist in green? If you have some will you sell?

(...) Eeeeverybody's a comedian. OK, urp, sorry for the grammatical slip. Mine pick up dust and cat hairs. Do yours pick up dust or hairs? (26 years ago, 14-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Do these elements exist in green? If you have some will you sell?

(...) Yes, they are. I wish they, and the Technic bricks that hold them, would get done in LDraw. (...) How the hell should I know? I have never been to your house. -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 14-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Do these elements exist in green? If you have some will you sell?

(...) Hmm, that it is a good tip. *sigh* Does that mean I'll actually have to get that set now? (...) Actually no, as I'm allergic to cats. But usually if I find cat hair in my place I pick it up still attached to the cat and throw it out before (...) (26 years ago, 14-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

PS, I will use the James Mathis memorial technique (1) with my new scanner and get some pics of my baby as it is now, a little not green enough but still good, onto the web within a week or two of returning to GR... 1 - put the model on the bed of (...) (26 years ago, 13-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

followups set to trains... (...) However, they are a bit more selectively compressed than I care for. :-) Mine has two motors, of course, instead of a stubby second truck.   Larry's Switcher

Hi Larry, I justy wanted to share with you the SW1200-ish switcher I built. There is a BN and a LIRR. I just recently added decals to the BN (its toward the top of) (URL) I also have been fishing for comments on my EP2 articulated electric engine. (...) (26 years ago, 13-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 4559 works with 7835?

(...) Not at all. Sorry if I left that impression. The conversion to lay 9V track where the current track lies is extremely easy. It's basically a case of removing the track and replacing it. It is dimensionally exactly the same except for the (...) (26 years ago, 11-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Railroad 2-man pushcar?

(...) You are probably right. I looked at the box for my HO scale model and Bachmann calls it a gandy dancer. That is what I have always called it. (...) Correct. (...) I have downloaded the entire book, but having an original copy would be nice. (...) (26 years ago, 11-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 4559 works with 7835?

(...) Since all the track is the same gauge, it can all be easily replaced to work with the other systems. The only exception that I know of is the original Level Crossing piece, because the rails were individually laid in. I have 7835, and the 9v (...) (26 years ago, 11-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

According to my site...
