Re: Looking for 3225 Classic Train

Further to this, I've just spoken to Paul at Busy Bee, and he's likely to be getting a substantial number of 3225s in the near future. If anyone is after a few, it may be worth your while to give BB a call. On Sun, 9 Jan 2000, Larry Pieniazek (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: GMLTC Module Construction

(...) I will make up a web page showing all the data on module construction. For now, here are the hard numbers: 2x4's needed - approx. 7,500 (62.5 Blue Tubs worth) 2x2's needed - approx. 10,000 (50 blue tubs worth) Large Gray Baseplates - 6 Weight (...)   GMLTC Module Construction

A while back I saw a post about how the GMLTC modules are put together. (As far as internal supports, ect) Does anyone have that info handy? (link, photo, or other) A few of us here in St. Louis are exploring something along the same lines and a (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Scan your stickers

(...) Yes, absolutely. In my case, rather than worry about stickers I can actually get I have been working with making stickers for things that either never were (i.e. nude lego torsos, yellow tudor corner walls) or things that I want more of (i.e (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: What kind of motor comes with the 4559?

(...) Mine happens on the worst place...right at the steepest point of the railway...ah well... (...) No, but I use 2 MRC Tech 2 packs for power, because I find them nicer to use than the Lego ones. I had them before I had the lego trains. Don't use (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: What kind of motor comes with the 4559?

I have experienced this interesting phenomenon - luckily it occurs in a 1.5m long tunnel about 7 track meters from the controller feed point so the slower speed prevents of derailing in 'the dark hole' (sometimes!). I recently tried several motors (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Scan your stickers

(...) I've created a FAQ on scanning Stickers... Is there any interest? Basically for black and white I'll use Clear plastic labels and my laser printer. For the colour ones I'll make a sheet and then have them printed at a print shop in colour on (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 5561 $40 at kbkids.com - train windows/doors

Is that a stupid search db or WHAT? Actually, it's the fault of the person that entered the data into the db, if they would have entered LEGO MODEL TEAM instead of MODEL TEAM, it would have properly shown in the Lego search. Thanks to LarryP for (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: What kind of motor comes with the 4559?

(...) a (...) This is due to the relatively light gauge of metal used in the track rails. Over a long layout they have a significant resistance.   Re: 5561 $40 at kbkids.com - train windows/doors

(...) Search for model team. They don't show up under the LEGO category. I also added some 6584 to my order since LEGO is 20% off (and you get both sales, neat!), but it would only let me order 3 (which is actually what I wanted), so those are (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  What about the south??

I live in Austin TX and the Greenberg Shows don't make it this direction. Are there any clubs or orgs that get together for anytime or plan to get together for GATS in San Antonio?? Brett "My bones are made of Legos." (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains.org)
