Hi Kevin, nice work! I like your real black Club Car too. I also have done some similar work, using the parts of three 4559 train sets and several model team vehicles. The baseplates of the 4560 train are really great for MOCs, even if the rest of (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.publish)

I'm not sure I understand the question exactly, but they all have the same motor. It's just incorporated differently into the engine model. The 4559 does not have the motor connected by a bogey plate, like the 4565, if that's what you're asking. It (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

Ben ... IMHO the 4559 locomotive is great! They just beg to be built with two motors ... they're just the right weight to give two motors excellent traction. Two two motor units will pull more cars than the magnetic couplers can handle! To add (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)
