  Re: 10183 postponed?

(...) On the 10th of March I placed an order for the 10183. S$H sent me a note saying that it would be shipped March 13th. No further word from S@H. Other postings in this thread indicate that 10183 would be shipped March 23rd. Checking the status (...) (18 years ago, 24-Mar-07, to lugnet.trains)

Problems with Online Hobby Train Instructions

Re: 30 NEW Train Sets! -- Or Individual Hobby Train Models Pricing

(...) They appear to be available again. The models that I uploaded have just been approved too. Oddly, they don't show up when you search under trains. Of course, they didn't approve both my buffered and unbuffered versions. They must have thought (...) (18 years ago, 24-Mar-07, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 30 NEW Train Sets! -- Or Individual Hobby Train Models Pricing

(...) :: snip :: (...) Ahh, Mike, looks like you're right. I went to the "Pick a Brick" page and there it says that the right train doors (yes, right, not left) are unavailable presently - that may be a new feature. It's nice to know exactly which (...) In lugnet.trains, James Mathis wrote: ... snipped ... (...) It appears that the Bricklink sellers have wiped out the supply of red train doors because any model which uses them are no longer available. This is also true of the 4 models I uploaded on (...) (...) Awesome work, James. I'm incredibly impressed and especially that it's LDD pure. I'd love to see the bike sold as a separate model (hint, hint). Tim (18 years ago, 22-Mar-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: I shall call him... Mini Me

(...) Thanks! I hadn't thought about putting plates/tiles on the wheels, but I had thought about grey light sabre blades. After I read your post I tried putting a plate and then a tile on the wheels, and as you said, it's just too big for the scale. (...)   Ross Neal goes 6 wide! {:-0

This is a little project Ross began last year that I never got around to documenting. He was tinkering as usual, and figured out a way to lay the old 4.5 volt battery train rails 3 studs apart and make a complete loop. Here is a pic of just a curve: (...)   Re: 10183 postponed?

(...) Unfortunately, LDD 2.0 no longer runs on earlier versions of Windows. LDD 1.6 ran quite happily under Windows 2000, but the new version crashes as soon as you place a brick.
