  Kind of a streamliner

Hello, I would like to show my second engine, which I have designed. It was aimed to look a little bit oldfashioned. (URL) It does not follow any real model, since (to be honest) I do not have any idea about trains, except the fact, that they are (...)   Have fun in Philly, everyone!

I'm crazy jealous I can't be there this year, I had a great time in Cincinnati last year. I know you all will represent the Lego Train hobby well! Looking forward to seeing pictures! JohnG, GMLTC (18 years ago, 3-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Pere Marquette #1225

(...) Brilliant, Anthony! Your Polar Express looks awesome, and very familiar-- Ross and I have just about completed our version (Ross has the tender yet to complete) which we will debut at the NMRA show this weekend. I built the cars and he built (...) (18 years ago, 3-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Pere Marquette #1225

(2 URLs) MOCPage> (URL) Brickshelf Gallery> Here is my MOC of the Pere Marquette Berkshire type steam locomotive #1225. It's actually the very same locomotive that pulls the Polar Express, which is why I replied to this thread. So why should you (...) (18 years ago, 3-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX)

  NMRA 2006 3D group layout

I’m finishing up on the finial render for this years picture. At this time I need the following groups logo’s if available. If any one wants me to email a larger file then what will be on brickshelf once the finial renders are done just email me (...) (18 years ago, 3-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains.org, FTX)

  Re: locomotive referance sites?

(...) Sometimes books are better than sites at giving real technical information. I recommend the Model Railroader Cyclopedia Volume 2 - Diesel Locomotives, ISBN 0-89024-547-9 at $37.95 (£25.00). I'll email you some info. I think it's worth (...) (18 years ago, 2-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: locomotive referance sites?

Slightly related, a good reference site I found for UK locomotives is, (URL) is UK Southern Region. (18 years ago, 1-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 7-Wide BNSF & TTX Intermodal Train & Crane

(...) I used a "propeller 4 blade 5diameter" and a matching "tile 2x2 with Pin" on a 7 wide tender, to pivot the motor. As used in my Q1 (URL) I also came up with a design that used 1x3 technic lift arms, mounted horizontally but I can't find the (...) (18 years ago, 1-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: locomotive referance sites?

(...) This is a good site for side views of US locomotives at least. (URL) Although they don't have dimensions they are to scale so you should be able to work them out pretty easily. Tim (18 years ago, 1-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains)

  locomotive referance sites?

Hey guy's, I am looking into building a couple diesel engines to expand my collection and to update my existing models and I’m having a heck of a time finding reference drawings to work from. Basically I’m looking for drawings with rough dimensions (...) (18 years ago, 1-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains)
