LEGO Train Factory Constrained: Latest to the yard is an attempt to model the (URL) German DB 103 locomotive and an intercity set> (think LEGO train set 7740). While this version is red and tan, the colors are inverted due to part shape (...) (18 years ago, 19-Jun-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce, FTX) !

(...) It's too late for this particular motor to determine whether it ran slightly faster or slightly slower than the trailing motor. If the trailing motor was slightly faster than the leading motor, it would have pushed the leading motor harder (...) (18 years ago, 19-Jun-06, to lugnet.trains)

So... through NELUG, I have been involved in the Millyard project in the SEE Science Center in Manchester, NH. The other day, we took one of the engines off the track, and removed it's dead motor. The motor had died because the springs had failed (...) (18 years ago, 19-Jun-06, to lugnet.trains)
