Re: French BB63000 series diesel locomotives

(...) I'm pretty sure that the panels Pascal put both sides of the bogies are just to make the trucks look good in 8-studs size. (URL) there are no skirts or specific structure in the real engine. In my previous post, I wrote : "The motor is the 12V (...) (20 years ago, 3-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

MlCad file!!!! ....for my 6-wide tank car.

(...) I know alot of you have asked for the MlCad file for my 6-Wide tank car. So I played around with MlCad and whipped something up. I am still a bit of a novice when it comes to MlCad so bare with me if something isnt clear. Each section of the (...) (20 years ago, 3-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Winterlude Photos

(...) Amazing stuff guys! A show on a canal takes the cake, especially with a cool Bombardier O-Train model too! And of course, the great BeaverTails shop! Calum (20 years ago, 3-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, FTX)

(...) [snip] (...) Hey! Cool engine. I am intrigued by the trucks (bogies). Are those skirts around the trucks or are they some other kind of stucture? Thanks for sharing, Chris (20 years ago, 3-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Winterlude Photos

(...) There is something very wrong about a train display outdoors in winter in Canada! :-) Seriously, the snow effect is wonderful-- I totally buy it! Having it all out of doors is icicles on the cake;-) Great show, guys!   Re: Winterlude Photos

(...) YAY ParLUGment!!! Way to pull out the stops and put on awesome display. The "snow" looks wonderful, and YAY!!! to you all for braving the elements. Pulling off an outdoor display I am sure is no easy feat, but anyone can do it with style, and (...)   Winterlude Photos

It has been too long past, and I haven't renamed all the photos, so I just went ahead and did the batch resize in order to get these posted. So, finally, without further ado, here are my photo's from ParLUGment's display on the Rideau Canal in (...)   Re: Getting diagonal track to line up properly?

(...) Joe, This is a liitle off this threads origianl topic but. I use Train Depot Track Designer (by Matthew Bates) and there are other programs to use. But I like this one. Here is the link (URL) Gallagher (20 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Getting diagonal track to line up properly?

OK, I'll add to an old thread too... Is there any software available for doing LEGO train layouts? I don't think this would have to be very complex -- just your several different kinds of track pieces, which you can drag around and arrange to see (...) (20 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: French BB63000 series diesel locomotives

(...) Please, Jeroen, don't tell'em they're lazy :-) More seriously, as you have maybe guess, these locomotives are only intended with local operations. The bikes allow drivers to rapidly move around on the railyards. Pascal will take some photos, I (...) (20 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: French BB63000 series diesel locomotives

Hi Didier, It's pretty cool. Seen the FRET-version before and I wonder why it has a bike on board? (URL) Are the French drivers too lazy to walk to the front? ;-) Thanks for sharing, Jeroen "Didier Enjary" <d.enjary@wanadoo.fr> schreef in bericht (...) (20 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Ten-wide goodness by ' cokabesh'

(...) Thanks for that. I would like to point out that the Loco's wheelsets are not my design. The rear set (powered) were done by Christopher Masi while the front set were adapted from David Koudy's design. Chucko (20 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Getting diagonal track to line up properly?

(...) I now this is an old thread but I was doing a search on attaching curved track to base plates and had something to add to this thread. I have a Brickshelf folder that I have not updated with current studies and layouts recently. But I have (...) (20 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Ten-wide goodness by ' cokabesh'

I'm not thunder-stealing, but I found this lovely dope at BS: (URL) think the loco emphasises John's point that 10-wide makes the wheels look too tiny, but the crummy is excellent. I don't think it looks half-bad at that scale. Side note: IIRC, The (...) (20 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

Rarest 60's Lego Item?? was Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

(...) Ben, Have you (or any 1000steine folks) ever seen one of these? (URL) 1962-65 European catalogs show the 1:87 cars with a red garage and a white base (the base is incorrectly shown as gray in most catalogs, except for the British ones, which (...)   Better instructions for my 6-wide tank car.

Hello all. I just updated my MOC's page with better instructions for my 6-wide tank car. (URL) shows the internal workings on how I get studs in every direction. If people would like I could also put up the MlCad files. I am also working on making a (...) (20 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)
