I finally finished my first really good (IMO) train car moc's! They're based on 8000 gallon (I think) tank cars. They're a bit on the tall side, but by themselves or with other 8-wides, they look ok. Today the NGLTC presented a small interactive setup at the Terminus Chapter Train Collectors Assoc. (TCA) meeting. Normally their meetings are not publized to the public, but they decided to invite the public this time and asked if the NGLTC could (...) I finally acquired enough dark red to put together a little building for the TCLTC layout (another "backdrop" building). I was really anxious to see the dark red in action, so to speak, and I think it was worth the wait! I *really* like this color (...) We are a Limited Partnership which limits our liability to the value of NELUG's assets, which while substantial from the groups perspective they are minimal in terms of real value. <humor> Of course (...) (...) I have skirted the issue by using curve-straight-curve...aight-etc. for most of my turns, which comes out to be about a 72 stud radius.
