  Re: Bugs train setup

(...) If we change the layout, the bigger cost will be cutting a new set of baseboards to match the curves of the new layout. Paint costs less per square metre than Lego baseboards! Really major layout changes could require replacing the whole (...) (23 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.trains.org)

  Superdetailed F-unit almost completed

After doing much planning and building, my F7 is almost complete. I'll be ready to roll out the red carpet sometime this week. The curves on it's nose will even put the Super Chief set to shame, I can guarantee it. Each fan, louver, and grabiron has (...) (23 years ago, 7-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Track Designer Registry

(...) Matt would need a least a week to sort things out, so I wasn't worried at that stage. (...) That is correct, I thought that Matt may have said that he had found it by now, and given it to someone. I didn't expect him to set up a sourceforge (...)   Re: Track Designer Registry

(...) Well, he was waiting.. but now perhaps he's wondering whether the necessary first step is going to happen or not? That step is Matt (or whoever?) finding the code, right, not setting up the SourceForge project. But you still could do that (...) (23 years ago, 7-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

  Re: Track Designer Registry

(...) Huh? I could swear that just a few weeks ago you recommended waiting around patiently for something to happen. (URL) decided to take your advice. Perhaps everyone else did too. ;) Don (23 years ago, 7-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

Re: Santa Fe Super Chief A0001 on eBay

(...) Selling the 10 of them at $5,000 each isn't going to put a huge smile on any accountant's face. This little experiment isn't about making money, though I'll be honest I can't figure out why they're doing it. (...) The practice is a gimic that (...) (23 years ago, 7-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Bugs train setup

(...) Wow. Very interesting. Thought provoking even! I don't think I've ever seen tables that had roadbed (grey) painted on them before. Are you thinking your layout is not likely to change or did you get a good deal on grey and green paint? Looking (...) (23 years ago, 7-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: Pictures from 2002 Raleigh GATS Show

  Re: Track Designer Registry

It has been a few weeks now since the subject of track designer updates was brought up, has anything come out of it yet? Has anybody heard anything new from Matt about releasing the source code to individuals, sourceforge or whatever? Martin (23 years ago, 7-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

(...) The idea for the tower comes from one made by Kevin Loch? I saw it at BrickFest last year on the WAMALUG layout. I got the red technic axles from 1351 Movie Backdrop Studio and the white axles from 3591 Heli-transport (Znap). It uses a (...)
