Funny. I didn't get to ride these when in The Netherlands a couple of years
ago. They look nice.
I've ridden one double decker commuter train: San Diego's Coaster.
Very nice equipment. I was very much the geeky tourist: Took the Coaster
from Santa Fe depot near Downtown to Carlsbad, then got a city bus (waiting
for departing train passengers!) to the base of the hill up to the hotel for
BricsWest 2002. While on the upper deck of the train I got a few odd looks
from other passengers by taking photos through the window. Fun! :-)
The route has a few sharpish curves so I could see the front-end locomotive
through the window in a rear car.
If only Lego(R) made relevant elements available in the palette of the
Coaster....
