Re: Last Minute ISSC entry pics: Swing Bridge

(...) The rareness eh!? I substituted black on my BNSF covered hopper (are there green 1x1 bricks with a side stud?). I have TONS of the 1x2 brick rings, but they look ugly! Josh (gotta go pay for my 150 tan bricks!) (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.trains)

Re: Last Minute ISSC entry pics: Swing Bridge

(...) Thanks, JT! I wanted so badly to debut a few city scene shots for the contest, but I ran out of time:-( I do have a preliminary layout in progress which fits in my basement which is based in design on the GMLTC module idea-- I am working on (...)   Re: Last Minute ISSC entry pics: Swing Bridge

(...) Thank you! (...) Ah, yes, a line of green ended ones would be sweet! (and very prototypical for my area because the BN had that color scheme) Unfortunately, TLC doesn't make 1x2x2 green thin walls or ladders yet, and the green hand wrungs are (...)   Re: Last Minute ISSC entry pics: Swing Bridge

Great looking bridge John, and a nice entry point for your layout. And speaking of layout, how is it coming together? Is there a real "layout" as of yet? I'm looking forward to seeing it. jt (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.trains)

(...) back, but I didn't get around to much. I only got to go to a Super Target :-(, but I managed to pick up a Women's Soccer Team on sale! I was really hoping to see the little red racer, I need a few, but I'll check K-Mart tomorrow. Anyways, (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.trains)

Last Minute ISSC entry pics: Swing Bridge

I barely made my entry under the deadline, and I have another large project that I wanted to include also, but alas, it still needs work.... This bridge is modeled after an actual swing bridge over the Mississippi River, just south of St. Paul, MN. I (...)   New Dark Night Rail Racer

After a bit of a LEGO break during the holidays my son and I spend this cold morning building the newest Rail Racer (www.railracers.com) to join in the fun. The "Dark Night" is a rear engine racer with an open cockpit. After resolving a few design (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.trains) !

Ideas for press announcements for BricksWest 2002

Hi trainheads, Does anyone have any ideas on publications (magazines, trade publications, web sites, etc.) where I can send press releases about the train events at BricksWest 2002? I figure (URL) is a good bet, especially with their new LEGO (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: set 0113

(...) Thanks for that information, Rosco! I bought once a set 111 from someone who never owned another train set than that and it came with the 2x2 couplings. So 111 and 112 seem to have 2 versions: first with the smaller couplings, later they were (...) (23 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: set 0113

(...) Thanks for that info. (...) At least no other set came with the equivalent Hamburg Basel Genova of the continental 113 set. (URL) please check out: I'm pretty sure there have to be 1x6 bricks, not 1x8 ones.... Kind Regards, Ben (23 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: New posters on LegoTrainPoster-page

(...) Thanks for the suggestion! It's there now. (...) Did you look here: (URL) ? Oh, and it is in the "you need these" file ( (URL) ) and is called 2865.dat (...)   Re: New posters on LegoTrainPoster-page

(...) Outstanding poster. And thanks for the train set files as well. I do have a couple of questions. Do you have all of the dat files in a single zip file? Also, where did you get the dat file for the 9V train track? I can't seem to find that (...) (23 years ago, 31-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets, lugnet.loc.nl)

  Re: set 0113

Both the piece with the "hook" and the piece with the "hole" were based on a red 2x4 plate (1/3 brick height). And a question back. Were there any other sets with London/Manchester/Glasgow on the blue 1x8 bricks? (I'm sure I have a few more (...) (23 years ago, 30-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: set 0113

(...) Hi Ben, My 111 (from childhood) definitely had 2x4 couplings, as I never had any sets with the 2x2 ones. I no longer have the set. ROSCO (23 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains)

LEGO trains at WSHM this weekend

  Re: set 0113
