  Re: MOW picture sources

(...) snipped some links The Train FAQ looks good! One thing though - now that the Metroliner and Club car are coming out, you would probably want to update the section about how to buy older train sets (i.e. tell about the train re-releases coming (...)   Re: LEGO magazine features Train Clubs???

Yes, LEGO has promoted LTC's in the past with flyers to customers. I don't think they have ever advertised a WAMALUG show however :( KL (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

That is a very slick-looking train. And the coloration and shape both present interesting challenges. -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com www.pnltc.org (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: New Train car MOCs!

It was pretty cool seeing Jakes version of the hoppers, kind of spooky seeing how similar they were. I was amazed that he was able to copy them so well from the simple pictures I posted. The best part is that I got to see what they'd look like in (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Another Legend dies....

(...) one from our sets. If it's an important part we phone LEGO and get another. It happens. I get a bad or chewed part in 1 in 25 sets on average. That's less then 1% error. (That is the commonly accepted failure rate for electronics) So in this (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Curved Green Switcher MOC

An old MOC I've had on all my layouts has finally been detailed on Brickshelf. No fair if you've already peeked at it! Anyway, I found myself staring at the green curved spindled fences from the bow of an Armada Flagship, and the trans-light blue (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Terminating a Line

(...) Thanks for the clarification, I think it does too. Your shunter won't be powered unless you route the turnouts to it. (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Terminating a Line

(...) Sorry, I'm not really up on my railroad terminology. I think we are talking about the same thing. I would like a line comming from a turnout that ends without reconnecting to the main line. I would like to stack a series of turnouts (a (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Terminating a Line

(...) Could you clarify what you mean by terminate? 9V turnouts are power directing. If you build a ladder of turnouts, only the route that is aligned gets power. All the others don't. So if you have engines parked on multiple tracks of the ladder, (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Terminating a Line

  Terminating a Line
