Is there any group going to display at this show? The way they are touting it, it seems to be a bigger deal. If so I live 15-20 miles from the venue let me know I might be able to help (wife permitting). I have tried to setup a group here but to no (...) Currently I believe the Georgia LEGO Outlet store has a few cases of the 12v automatic switch tracks, and has had them for some time. So I don't think there is a big demand for these at the moment. jt (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.trains)

I am not a fan of trains, and the only train set I have is the space monorail. I was recently at a lego store in Virginia, and I saw in the train section an old box of train track like I've never seen before (the only kind I've seen is the type used (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) The couplers worked great. The only problem was that LEGO train wheels were a little too free rolling, and when shoving cars after uncoupling them they tended to get away from you at times. However, free rolling can be good if someone builds a (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I would very much welcome LEGO compatible Kadee couplers. I would be less interested in trucks, but might give them consideration. There is a real difference. A Kadee coupler would provide tremendous operational enhancement and replace the (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Yeah, I was pretty pleased with it! Seeing I first designed it over 20 years ago, and hadn't actually built it before to check the design! I need help getting my 188 and 138 to work. These are the two "electroin train sets", from 1968 and 1969, they are almost identical. My problem is that I have both sets, but no whistle. I would a) want to buy one (anyone wants to sell one ??), or b) (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jun-01, to lugnet.trains)
