(...) I'm sure LD is aware of it (they *do* read LUGNet), but why would anyone assume that they would have anything to do with it? They have nothing to do with it. I'm really not sure how much clearer this can be! This mail list provides a mechanism for LEGO Train Club representatives (that's us!) to discuss topics, in a ***non-public*** forum, related to: communication with LEGO Direct, exhibiting LEGO (...) (24 years ago, 4-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)

I'm not sure why forming a mailing list to all the LTCs (in North America or world, whatever) is such a big deal. People, relax a bit!
