I'm really not sure how much clearer this can be!

This mail list provides a mechanism for LEGO Train Club representatives (that's
us!) to discuss topics, in a ***non-public*** forum, related to:
communication with LEGO Direct, exhibiting LEGO Trains, and other cross LTC
matters. Only two
representatives from each club should subscribe.

***Thus, no GATS, no LD, just 2 reps from each club. OK? Get it?

It is this simple.

Now some responses:
Q: Is this a club?
A: No, it is a  M A I L I N G   L I S T! (YOL) After all the hoopla about the
"IBLTC" name I mailed Mike and suggested we call it the "QWERTY" mailing
list, 'cause it's really that arbitrary! With that said, Mike created a mail
list named IOLTC, be my guest and make up anything you want for the achronym
to stand for.

Q: Who at LD made the request for the organization in the first place?
A: NO BODY at LD requested this. I pulled it out of ***THIN AIR!*** I just
thought it would be nice to have a mechanism to e-mail all clubs at once
easily. Sorta like the direct line from the White House to the Kremlin.

Q: Why North America only
A1: I don't know! I originally thought World. Mike and I are making it up as
we go along and nothing is perfect.
A2: I *believe* that LD is handling NA and ROW (rest of world) separately,
for more specifics about LD's relationship to the ROW ask Brad.

Thanks, and now can we discuss something else like... who built a killer
train out of all these bulk packs we've been begging for for the last 3 years!

Have a nice day!
