Re: Help needed to identify parts

Hi Bill, Have a look at set 153 which uses these double wheel set bogies. Between the baseplate and wheelsets there is an old style round turntable I didn't know you were into trains. Mark H. (...) (26 years ago, 14-Apr-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 12V compatible with 9V

(...) Thank you for your promt answer! What is a step-up/step-down transformer? I am getting the transformer and tracks, but I guess I will use it on the 9V track as I have more tracks for 9V. I think I will try to use the light posts from the 12V (...) (26 years ago, 14-Apr-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Help needed to identify parts

I recently received a large assortment of old LEGOs and need help in identifying the set to which they might belong. There are two white 4x6 plates with integral 2x4 wheel housings and an integral 1x2 plate protruding from one end. There is also a (...) (26 years ago, 14-Apr-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 12V compatible with 9V

Yes, it is. The 12V guage is the same as the 9V and even the motors are the same size, so you shouldn't have any problems running the 7745 on 9V track with a 9V motor. But, if you are getting 12V track with the train, try running the train on 12V (...) (26 years ago, 13-Apr-99, to lugnet.trains)

Hello all, On lugnet.cad.dat I've posted a sneak preview of part #2871 I'm working on now.   Pirate Auction (was Found Pirates & Train)

Hello all, For those unaware, for the last few days I have been dealing with members of the group and sending out Lego's from a local store here in MA. Everything went smoothly except for a few sets. These sets were asked for so overwhelmingly, that (...) (26 years ago, 11-Apr-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.loc.us.ma.wor, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.trains, lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Train Pics at Joe' Lego Page

Re: Train Pics at Joe' Lego Page

(...) Hi Chris, Most of the pieces for the Pillsbury car came from Freestyle sets. If you don't have blue parts, they also made many of them in red. A Coca-Cola car would look good too.. As for the purity statement: No intent there at all. Some (...) (26 years ago, 7-Apr-99, to lugnet.trains)
