  Re: piece id

(...) It sounds like you have the decorated slope element from set 6434 Roadside Repair from 1999. I think that this is the only set ever to have a decorated 2x4 Yellow bevel brick. (URL) Salm__ (25 years ago, 11-Apr-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

  Activity suggestions for a town

I'm building a small town, 4*5 plates big. I have some pretty good suggestions for activities to add to a town, I'm using some of them and am planning to use all. Forestmen's Target Range: Build a small tower or similar, add the big green leaves, (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.town)

(...) Thanks! (...) I'd love to see other people take a shot at it! (I wonder if all those pieces exist in pink? this is quite cool, bram. i particularly like the use of pink elements and the bubble over the cockpit/driver's seat. it opens up a whole new range of possibilities (flying versions of classic cars). good stuff! ..joseph g (...)   Re: '59 Caddy Hovercar Raytraces

I didn't know that about POV-ray. The only things I've rendered in it have been floating in space, so I've never tried something hovering over a reflective surface. Is the POV file available for download somewhere? I need a 1024x768 version for my (...) (25 years ago, 7-Apr-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad.ray)

Great buildings Adrian! I really like how you have created such a variety on the theme (I think number four is my favourite). I have experimented with the same style myself. If you are interested, see (URL) I like your web page design as well. Silas (...) (25 years ago, 7-Apr-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: '59 Caddy Hovercar Raytraces

(...) Thanks. (...) It's an optical illusion--well, actually, it's probably just a limitation of POV-Ray. AFAIK, reflective surfaces in POV don't actually reflect the light rays that bounce off of them, so no light reaches the bottom of the car, so (...)   Re: '59 Caddy Hovercar Raytraces

Very cool! Did you do anything special to the bottom of the car in the ray-trace? In the reflection, it looks almost like you have placed tiles there upside down, but the MPD has plates for the bottom. Or is it an optical illusion? James (...)
