  Re: Canal Street

(...) Hi Tim, Thanks and thanks again for directing me to that link. I am thrilled with the light yellow building, but think I need to revisit the dark red one. You know, your suggestion on the roads is right on the money. I am a little annoyed with (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jul-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Canal Street

(...) Thanks very much. I really would have liked the tiles to me light yellow as well, but to my knowledge they are not available. I then was going to use dark bley (because I had them) but I thought they'd be to dark. I ended up with the light (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jul-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Canal Street

(...) Hi Jonathan, I'm loving the car repair shop with the hotrod just poking out. I have a little suggestion though, I think it could look quite good if you raised a 1x2 tile on the road every so often. Need not be a full plate either but I think (...) (18 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Canal Street

(...) Uh, are those hookers? :D Very nice work. I love the contouring of the dumptruck. And the use of 1x1 tiles on the corners of the yellow building to simulate shoddy/rotting brickwork is brilliant. Again, very nice work. (18 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.town)

  Canal Street

In addition to meeting lots of builders I admire and getting tons of inspiration to build, my trip to NMRA in Philly enabled me to pick-up the bricks I needed to complete this street on my layout.   Cool part for a lintel on a window

I noticed this part: (URL) And thought it would be great for a lintel on a building window. As I learned here on Lugnet, a lintel is the top part of a window. A part that people quite often use arches for. I'd love these parts in bley, dark bley or (...) (18 years ago, 6-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Re: Wildwoods Doo Wop Motel

(...) That's what usually happened to us when some of our friends dropped by and there were no rooms available. The boardwalk and all of the structures throughout the whole length of it gave the Wildwoods a distinct feature that none of the other (...) (18 years ago, 1-Jul-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Wildwoods Doo Wop Motel

(...) Nice motel. Brings back memories of when we went down there, before we had any kids, and crammed as many people in one room as we could... Now you need to build a section of (URL) Morey's Piers> and a working Sea Dragon... (18 years ago, 30-Jun-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Wildwoods Doo Wop Motel

Storm drain puzzle / Keep Them Rolling

  LDD to LDRAW Conversion Fixes

I've been tinkering with the "ldraw.xml" file in LEGO Digital Designer (LDD), and have come up with the following list of fixes for good LDD/LDRAW conversion.   Scaffolding

Here's some scaffolding I made at the weekend. I'm mainly a spacey kind of guy, but I guess you could use this in a townie/train scenario. (2 URLs) Pete (18 years ago, 26-Jun-06, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

  Re: A Few Firehouses
