Thanks, Dave. Sorry for the late reply -- I am offline on the weekends and
much of the day on Fridays.
The firehouse "jlcreation" was inspired by a newer firehouse in The Bronx.
Unfortunately, the firehouse was involved in scandal over the past year or so.
(E75/L33).
The cement blocky look is exactly what I was going for. Also, the plates used in
the striping on the lower level are the very light gray plates from the mosaic
set. I wanted to use that additional earthtone color to my advantage on the
outside of a building rather than use them as filler on the inside. Not easily
done with only 1x1 plates available, but I am happy with the results.
