Re: Skyscraper MOC: David Stott Building

(...) Hi Jim, This is simply spectacular. I've been watching the very promising progress shots on BS and I'm stunned at the end result. Absolutely brilliant! I love all your art deco stuff but I think this one is the best. I'd love to see some shots (...) (18 years ago, 22-May-06, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Skyscraper MOC: David Stott Building

Great work Jim!! Although I haven't been involved with the Michigan club, I had the pleasure of meeting Jim last August when he was on tour of Downtown Detroit's Historic Theatre Tour, where I was a guide. A great guy! Jim has also done a (...) (18 years ago, 22-May-06, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: New Seaplane set in old Legoland scale

(...) I've got that set & it is VERY COOL! A great build & it did remind me of classic sets. I dislike the click hinges, but the set is so good & 'classic' that I can easily overlook it. It has a classic smiley pilot with a cool midnight blue pilot (...) (18 years ago, 22-May-06, to lugnet.town)

New Seaplane set in old Legoland scale

Looks pretty cool. (URL) pieces. It appears to use the new click hinge sloped roof piece instead of the old finger hinge peice, but other than that it look very nice. -Mike Petrucelli (18 years ago, 21-May-06, to lugnet.town)

Re: New MOC - STVFD Engine 82

(...) Great to see another rig added to the fleet! Very nice work, indeed! I especially like some of the details on the back (hose connection, traffic cone, etc.). I'd second the motion to shorten the pump panel by a brick. Also, it looks like the (...) (18 years ago, 19-May-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

(...) Very nicely done, Roy! I have been meaning to try and build some fire equipment for a while, and I think this MOC may be the final inspiration I need to build. Thanks for sharing! -Matt :) (18 years ago, 19-May-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: New MOC - STVFD Engine 82

(...) Thanks! Actually, that's the bumper of another of our engines, E84. E82 (the one the model is based on) has just a flat bumper, hence the one on the model. As for the wheelbase - you're right about that. I think I should remove one stud from (...) (18 years ago, 19-May-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)
