  Re: U.C. Berkeley's South Hall - MOC

(...) Richard, Thanks for the accolade. I stumbled across a few interior pictures of South Hall during my research on the building but I was pressed for time and having never been to Berkeley, I just left the interior empty. Maybe I'll get to it (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.town)

(...) Eric, Good to hear from you and thanks for praise. Maybe I'll add a minifig representation of you on your bike and this "Jimmy Hendrix" fan at the show. B. (21 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.town)

How can you make a tree only from brown parts?

I have a couple of brown parts left. Does anyone have any ideas on how do build a tree from only brown bricks? Like an old, rusting tree or something like that? Steve M. (21 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: U.C. Berkeley's South Hall - MOC

What a fantastic re-creation Brian! I almost missed it because you choose to post it in .train first. :P btw, I echo Derek's statement....Sand Red! WooHoo! :) Seriously-that's at least as impressive as any other work I've seen you build. You've got (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: U.C. Berkeley's South Hall - MOC

(...) John, Good to hear from you and thanks for the praise. As for the fuzzy pictures, it's not camera's fault but rather my inexperience with it. I've read the manual twice but I still haven't mastered the blasted thing. I think I'll invest in a (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: U.C. Berkeley's South Hall - MOC

(...) Chris, I'm glad to hear that you feel I did South Hall justice. The building comes apart in three sections but it's a tight fit in my car so but I'll try to get it to the next LUGOLA meeting. In fact I've had to rebuild the center section (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: U.C. Berkeley's South Hall - MOC

(...) Jonathan, Wow, thanks for the high praise. A medium colored brick between Sand Red and Red would have been nice for this MOC but I guess we'll just have to make do with those colors for now. I'll definately take some more detailed pics of (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.town)

  Review of 7035 Police HQ

Set: 7035 Police HQ Pieces: 418 Price: $50 Main Model: The main model is very dark, futuristic looking police station. I would say that this is the most "futuristic" town set that LEGO has ever produced. The ground floor entrance is made up of 2 (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jul-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.reviews)

Review of new Grand Central Station (4513) set

Set: 4513 Grand Central Station Pieces: 344 Price: $50 Main Model: The main model is a modern looking train station. This is a significantly bigger station than the older "red" station, and also has much more interesting architecture. In fact, I (...)
