(...) Really nice Bill! I like the fire engine. You really captured the look of those old engines. I enjoyed seeing the other mocs too. Nice work! Thanks for sharing them. Tom (22 years ago, 3-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

(...) I'm not a big fan of mee toooo but I gotta say me too! We've seen a number of trucks of this era or just before it that used plate hinges for front fenders but never this use of the quarter round part I don't think. It's a bit thick but you (...) (22 years ago, 3-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

Greetings, Now that I have my LEGO-dedicated half of the basement rec room and see a light at the end of my seemingly endless parts sorting I've actually been building! Hi, Andreas. Wow, I'm glad you made some photos of this amazing layout available before its deconstruction. The verticality of this whole layout is very appealing -- hanging stuff from the ceiling at different heights is a really great idea. Heaven, (...) (22 years ago, 2-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

Wow! There is so much good stuff here. The sun and the tornado are very cool, and the hanging stuff, such as the airplanes are great! 'Heaven' made me laugh- very creative idea. The train and monorail layout looks pretty good, as well. Dang, I wish (...) (22 years ago, 2-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

(...) Thanks, Kevin. Since my original display consisted only of official sets, the whole city seemed too 2D. I feel that hanging some planes and other structures from the ceiling really helps. This also gives all of those paramedic vehicles (...) (22 years ago, 2-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)
