Holy cool models, Batman. Nice work, Joe. The coolest thing on the sub is the cockpit design. Very clever both on the look and on how it opens. Great work, Keith! Very cool details. The white beard and hat work perfectly for the old watchman. Love the look of the bridge out to the lighthouse, it's a lovely design. And that shark attack is amazing! I also really like the giant wave frozen in (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-03, to lugnet.town)

The Pelican 3 is a heavily modified SeaPlane built to have all the comforts of home while you travel the world. The discovery wings channels had a special about flying boats all last week and i just had to build one. (...) Yes, and they have changed the bricks under the rails too. There is now a blue 2 x 6 brick at each end instead of the 1 x N pieces, but the old pieces are still included in the set... BTW.
