How to incorporate Large Church into town layout?

(...) Thanks for all your nice comments, it looks lioke over 1000 hits in 1 day on my Brickshelf folder, could that be true? In order to proceed with the project, I have a few questions as a beginning city designer. I want to make my church a part (...) (22 years ago, 2-Nov-02, to lugnet.town)

In-freakin'-credible! That's some great work, Paul! I love the details; it all looks real to me, and your rendition of a church organ has lots of classic feel to it. Love it! Peace and Long Life, Tony Alexander (22 years ago, 2-Nov-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Large Church

Great job Paul! Had no idea it'd turn out that big just by looking at the first pic! Its a beautiful church, the choir is cool. I'm just dying to ask a question, but I don't think I should ; ). Anyways, beautiful church. Now you just need pics of (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Large Church

(...) The closest one to you is BLOC... (URL) also have a lugnet discussion group that they don't seem to use. I don't think they've done any shows. You might want to contact them to find out what they have planned. One of these days I'll stop in on (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Large Church

(...) Thanks. No it would, why, I just shelled out $100's to get all the trans bricks for my stain windows, I hate to see prices drop right after I spend good $$ on 'em. I don't need them anymore....:>) (Actually, just a few more would be nice to (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Large Church

(...) A very impressive work. Nice detail. I love the organ. Wouldn't it be nice if LEGO did a trans brick bulk pack? :-) Amy (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Large Church

Paul, this is a beautiful construction all around. While the overall architecture and roofwork just blows me away, I am particularly impressed with the minifig work inside -- the ingenious outfitting, furniture, and props, especially of course, that (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Large Church

(...) Wow! I'm ont a fan of religious buildings, but this is HUGE! Very impressive indeed. (22 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Large Church

Wow! I saw the thumbnail on the "Recent" page of Brickshelf and said "Oh, cute little microfig church" Then I clicked on the folder and was floored. Very impressive! My favorite detail is the organ, which would be an amazing MOC in its own right, (...) (22 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Large Church

(...) On one side ("parking lot"), the big windows form a big cross, red in the middle, and a layer of light blue and yellow surrounding it. On the other side, it is a diamond, but does not yet stretch across all windows. These transparent bricks (...) (22 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Large Church

(...) That's quite the church! Very nice building. I like the half stud offset for the 1x3 arches behind the 1x4 arches. The stain (trans) glass appears to have a somewhat random pattern, is there something there I am not seeing? Any guess on the (...) (22 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Large Church

(...) Actually, from Star Wars, the cloth on the altar is from scala I beleive (from a bed or so). for the robes of the choir I took 2 cloth capes, put one on the back, and then one on the front. I used a small technic rubber belt in white to make a (...) (22 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Large Church

(...) It's gross contours are loosely based on the Church in my birthcity, Roermond, the Netherlands (based on 4 photos I found on the web). However, alot of it is freestyle, because large portions of the original church are round, or octagonal (...) (22 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Large Church

Hello! Great! Stunning! I like the details like the organ and the Communion goblets. Where are the clothes from? Scala? I couldn't complain about any aspects of your architectural work (even if I would like). Just one point: I think the candles (...) (22 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.town)

(...) Wow, that's absolutely gorgeous! Is it based off any particularly church model? Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (22 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.town)

  Large Church

My latest church project is almost finished. I've got to landscape around the church a bit more, but the building is more or less finished. Comments are welcome.   Re: Translink (Vancouver) New Flyer Low Floor Bus

(...) Yup, next time you are on the bus durring rush hour, appreciate the amount of room you have. Compare it to the 1 seat in each row on a lego version! Next year I will have to make a 60 foot articulated bus for the layout. Let's see how much of (...) (22 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.town)

  Office tower project

xposted to announce.moc Here are some early images of my new office tower. I was hoping to have a few more floors in place but I had to cut it short due to time constraits and the lack of enough clear pieces. So this is version one: (URL) kind of (...)
