Re: New Moc: Dark Red Building

(...) Dark red looks really sweet. This would be a fantastic choice for bulk. Nice building too. -Jason +---...---+ Jason Spears MichLUG - (URL) Page - (URL) (22 years ago, 8-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

It looks more like brick color than red... Tan is good trim too. (22 years ago, 8-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  New Moc: Dark Red Building

I finally acquired enough dark red to put together a little building for the TCLTC layout (another "backdrop" building). I was really anxious to see the dark red in action, so to speak, and I think it was worth the wait! I *really* like this color (...)   Re: Real "lights" in town?

  Re: Real "lights" in town?

(...) That would depend. If you're after large towers with projectors, there is a fairly high chence they will overheat. But supposing you intend to build a soccer stadium, and that it is covered all around, you could always follow the latest trend (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-02, to lugnet.town)

In lugnet.town, Kevin Cheng writes: <snip> (...) Actually, LED lights put out almost *no* heat, so you shouldn't have any problems. The GMLTC uses LEDs all over our layout, and we have no problems with them getting too warm. Now our 3volt (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-02, to lugnet.town)

  Real "lights" in town?

Is it possible to have some real street lights in a LEGO town? I know that there were some light and sound sets before in the 90s, but they were mostly for emergency vehicles. Also, I think I've seen some older sets in the early days have real, (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-02, to lugnet.town)

Ogel's Drones have a command torso no one seems to notice.
