  Re: Sidewalks for Minifig Safety

(...) Well, by now, I have come to the conclusion, that they will go out of production. Remember, that's what happened to the previous (grey) ones, each time Lego started to produce a new type of roadplates. I don't like the Jack Stone roadplates (...) (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: MOC Police Station

Hi Adam It looks very much as I would expect a small town US Police station looks. I have never seen one in reality, though, only in movies :-) You should probably raise the end door (pic 576) one plate and fill the little green gap with black (...) (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  MOC Police Station

I've done a MOC Police Station, and was curious what people thought about it: (URL) comments? Good? Bad? Ugly? (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Sidewalks for Minifig Safety

(...) Personally, I want to know this myself. I do NOT like the new plates and if that's the case I'm going to go crazy in buying 6320-6323. Any information would be great! Thanks. Brendan Duck360198@aol.com (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Sidewalks for Minifig Safety

(...) I LOVE the tiles for sidewalks. I think it looks classy and realistic. And I agree it is tough to keep minifigs up. But one solution that I thought of is to use 1x2 plates with the single stud on top that way you can place one foot on the (...) (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Sidewalks for Minifig Safety

Mark & All, (...) Well, minifigs do fall over occasionally, but using them in a multiple of creations and shows now, most of them do stand the test. With trains and other things running by. And it is not too big of deal to stand a few up during a (...) (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Sidewalks for Minifig Safety

(...) about keeping minifigs upright on tiles.. (URL) I guess he had too much Legoland Ale ;) But this topic is something I am very interested in. The tile sidewalks do look nice, but the plate sidewalks would provide a much more stable platform for (...) (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Sidewalks for Minifig Safety

(...) Hmmmmmmmm can't be topped?? Darn and I thought our downtown with"tiled sidewalks" looked pretty good.:-) (URL) (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

Re: New roads available now! (was Re: City/Town Buses MOCs out there???)

(...) I notice they're under the "creator" theme too - looks like town really is dead... ROSCO (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

Re: New roads available now! (was Re: City/Town Buses MOCs out there???)

(...) Those look decent, I'm glad to see roadplates back since it seemed they were disappearing. Frank (22 years ago, 21-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Sidewalks for Minifig Safety

Sidewalks are a topic I am interested in hearing peoples thoughts on. When building your city, do you include sidewalks? I have found that some town builders use tiles for sidewalks, which seems strange to me. Yes, it does match the "pavement" of (...) (22 years ago, 21-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

New roads available now! (was Re: City/Town Buses MOCs out there???)

In lugnet.town, Frank Filz writes: (snip) (...) The new road baseplates are now online on S@H (is it old news?) for $6,99 US. (URL) now 6 studs each side. The grey of the road seems to be darker than the old roads. Pierre (22 years ago, 21-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

Re: City/Town Buses MOCs out there???

(...) If you mix with trains at all, busses and trucks should be 6-wide. If you build trains at 8-wide (or 10-wide), busses and trucks should be similarly wider. The good news for those who like 6-wide or even 8-wide vehicles is the Jack Stone road (...) (22 years ago, 21-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

Re: City/Town Buses MOCs out there???

Hello! (...) No buses, but this site is BRILLIANT! I wish EVERYONE who did CAD stuff would do this. It makes people who are MOC illiterate (like myself) able to make some great MOCs. Too bad there are so few models! Brendan Duck360198@aol.com (22 years ago, 21-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

Re: City/Town Buses MOCs out there???

Hello all! (...) Thanks a lot for all of your input. There are some FANTASTIC buses out there. I have to say that Pierre's is the best one...for what I want to do with my town. But it seems to me that if one wants to make a functional bus (i.e. (...) (22 years ago, 21-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)
