  Town Ideas

If any of you seen my News Paper then you will know that SPINCity 2000 is in a terrible crisis. I think I built that city 100,000,000 different ways in one space & I'm running out of creativity!? I removed some tables to add some room but nothing. I (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: PRICE GAP????

(...) I did a quickie analysis on 6600 about a month ago. I don't remember which gorup I posted to, but try searching LUGNET for it. The $80 price is not hard to justify -- the highway plates and supports are going to be pricey. BUT, I think (...) (25 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.town)

Re: If Lego made new Town sets... what should they be?

(...) These were very popular in the past, maybe a balance is required between the 'action' sets and the 'model' sets. Both have potentially the same play- value but would a "boring" house or Radio-Telescope station sell in amongst the 'instant (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jan-00, to lugnet.town)

In lugnet.town, Paul Baulch writes: [snip!] (...) Like they have for the streets in Miniland at Legoland, would be very, very, nice. Also, elecrical contacts on the chassis so we can put in headlights, tailights, and even working lightbars. Oh the (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.town)

  Police Window

I seem to be missing a police window from a set I have (6684 Police Patrol Squad, I believe it is) from about 1984. I need a window with small white horizontal stripes and a large black horizontal stripe at the bottom, in which "Police" is written (...)   Re: 6573 plow attachments

(...) The blades attach to blue 2x2 plates which then attaches to the underside of a black 2x6 plate. On the top of the 2x6 plate is a 1x4 hinged plate which is attached to the body of the vehicle you are building.....hope this helps. Dave (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.town)

  Airliner Purchase advice

Hi guys! I'm trying to purchase an Airliner or 2 to add to my fleet of Lego vehicles. I'm looking for a Twinjet, Airbus A320 style, and a T-Tail twinjet, like the DC-9... Now, I need to determine WHICH of the sets are really the best in terms of (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.town)

  6573 plow attachments

I have a question about the 6573 Arctic Expendition. (Wal*Mart does not have this set in my area) Anyways I built a Blue&Red Hummer (#14) & its modified for Arctic adventures, with large super swamper tires, large mirrors, roof lights, tow chain, (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.town)

  PRICE GAP????

Does anyone else think there is a major price gap on the new 6600 Highway Construction set? $88.00 & all you get is 3 trucks a crain & some road. Now look at the 6575 Polar Base its $66.00 & you get 2 buildings 1 truck 1 chopper 1 snowmobile & it (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.town)

Re: Cowboy hat - not a Town Jr. thing!

(...) Hmmm... well, I know a few people here in Ann Arbor, they do wear cowboy hats, and a lot of people wear sunglasses. Anyway, I have no problem with the cowboy hats. Scott S. (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

Re: Cowboy hat - not a Town Jr. thing!

I thoguht that everyone hated them and that they thought it was a Town Jr thing, because in many of the "If I lived in a lego town..." listed things like "I´d wear sunglasses, never sleep or eat, and wear helmets or cowboy hats". that´s how I got (...)   Re: Pics of my Tudor Estate

Oh, my. I am so impressed. That's beautiful, Silas. That's just the sort of thing my wife likes to try to build (although she's more interested in the interior of houses than the exterior) so I've bookmarked your page and am going to send it to her (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.town)
