(...) Speaking of ranch fencing (and not really what you're looking for), I've been very pleased with the split rail fencing that I slapped together for a show. It's instantly recognizable, appropriately scaled, extremely versatile, and very (...) (23 years ago, 29-Nov-01, to lugnet.town)

  JoeFish, the amazing moving website!

Greetings all. My website and e-mail have moved - sorry to anyone who linked to me, and I'm also sorry I don't have many links to other peoples' yet. I'll put a LUGNet button on there soon, I promise. The old Cable and Wireless servers are shutting (...)   A large yellow building

Hi folks, A long time ago, I built a horrible blue building with the goal of spanning a piece of Lego track. I couldn't finish it, and by the time rtlToronto/train2 rolled around, it was nothing but a big empty foundation and structure: (URL) the (...)   Re: Building Fences

(...) Hey! I like that. Not really what I'm looking for, but nice and simple. Kind of reminds me of the fence that we had around the yard when I was growing up on the ranch. Good job. -Duane (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: FDNY--3rd street station

(...) My overall feeling is that sand red is on the right track, but not quite there. The pteradactyl that came with the Island hopper would be the perfect 'brick' color in my opinion. I havent yet seen the dark red bricks (aside from the pictures (...) (23 years ago, 18-Nov-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

The ship after the dark ages

Hey guys, After my one year dark age, I've finally begun building again. Just want to share these pictures of a new ship I'm working on (still need to work out some problems with the boxy look). It's a sorta trans-atlantic liner(ish) and I've gotten (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.boats, lugnet.town)

  Re: FDNY--3rd street station

jonathan, you were wishing for a "brick colored brick". How do you think the sand-red works as "bricks" for this MOC? It's a subdued color like the other sands, and until I printed it out I thought it was gray and your photograph had a red shift (or (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  Re: Building Fences

I have an idea that uses 1x1 bricks, 1x3 plates and 1x8 tiles. Very simple for straight runs, 1x3 elbow plates do corners. 1x1 plates for top caps or and decor you like. I have a picture of the idea at... (URL) Carcanague (23 years ago, 16-Nov-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Building Fences

Here is my idea of a fence, you only need lots of (bulk) 1 x 6 plates, and four 1 x 3 plates (two at each end) per straight run of fence. It does't require any bracked type parts to place the fence verticaly, the plate posts can be placed between (...) (23 years ago, 16-Nov-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Building Fences

(...) I have an idea for a shuttered fence, built using bulk bricks from Shop@Home. Get a load of 1x6 plates, and lay down two lines 4 studs apart. Add a second row on top to join them all together into long lines. Then, place 2x8 plates across (...) (23 years ago, 16-Nov-01, to lugnet.town)
