That looks cool, I also lloked at the other images, I noticed you have a
midship airel platform truck, I've noticed that lots of poeple have • midships
now, which is amazing to me, when all of the Sixby & Woodchuck thucks are
stern mounted.  Anyways, I like the hose tower...

I designed a midship (http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=35938)
because the Lego ladder is simply too short to make a decent rearmount by
itself (in my scale) and makes one that is too long when joined end-to-end.
From an engineering standpoint I also think that a midship mount provides
more stability.

Now, about that station...very nice.  It seems that St. Lego stations either
date from the turn of the 20th century or the mid to late 1990's.  Is this
deliberate or simply a result of real-life inspiration?

(...) Thats exactly why I like it too, even though mine are 6 wides, the truck woulde end up being too long on a stern mount for my streets, they'd get hung up on the curbs... Josh (23 years ago, 20-Jun-01, to lugnet.town)
