  Re: Chateau Paradisa

ah, brad is undoubtedly the finest lego architect i've seen, but this building just doesn't hold up to his others :-( and i think the issue is that its sandwiched between two street baseplates. I know you are already well into bricktopia brad but (...) (24 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, lugnet.org.us.lugola)

Re: Newfoundbrick Ferry Services: S.S. Grey Line

(...) Hi Heather, The S.S. Grey Line is a mix of both Newfoundland and B.C. Ferry's. I built this one and a slightly smaller one (in height) for a Train Line that I have, called Grey Line Transport. The Train Ferry holds three sections of track. The (...) (24 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.ca.nf)

Re: Newfoundbrick Ferry Services: S.S. Grey Line

(...) Rick, it's great to see a post from the "mystery Newfoundlander"! From the size I'd say it's more like the Hamilton Sound, one of the spares that are used anywhere in the province to replace boats gone for repair. (I'm trying to find a picture (...)   Re: -z- Preview of Harry Potter -z-

(...) Hi, I'm just back from England (where there filming it). I saw in a mag that they are using a ruined church and surrounding castle for most of it. But if you like Castle (as I do) Hagrid's house is the set to get (if they make it). The mock up (...) (24 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

I recall the earliest ones, each of which had remarkable features, but these are much more subtle and thus carry a much better realistic "punch." What's truly telling is when you look at the (...)   -z- Preview of Harry Potter -z-

I've just espied the trailer for the new ‘Sorcerers Stone’ film, and it appears to be far more castle-like than town!!! ***Pure speculation:*** With Witches, Wizards, brooms, castle-like buildings, (The school appeared very castle-like with (...)   Re: Just need some advice.........

(...) Maybe. I'm not sure yet. I'm really hoping to make a team of meteorologists, it's just that I don't have much variety, and I can't go out and buy lego if I wanted to, unless I was lucky to get money from my parents. Just to fill everyone in, I (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Just need some advice.........

(...) You're making Jurassic Park? (possibly?) Cool! I did that too! What character are you trying to make? I'd say the torso is okay for a male figure, being quite similar to the Johnny Thunder torso, but defiantely change the head. Some Jurassic (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.town)

  Just need some advice.........

I would like as many people as possible to tell me their opinion on this: would the desert version of Ms. Gail Storm(aka Ms. Pippin Read) look okay for a male figure? I'm just curious. I was thinking of either making a Jurassic Park from my Lego(tm) (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.town)
