Mechs are a Japanese idea -- "what could be cooler," asked one of them once,
"than big humanoid robots that can fight battles and stuff?"
Since then, Japanese anime (animated TV and movies) has been full of them.
If you've never watched any, you're missing out! Go to your local video
stores and look in the foreign/anime section for Macross, Gundam, Pat Labor,
Evangelion etc. etc.

| What critera are used to determine if a robot is a mech or not? Does it have to be used for war? Does it have to be big? Does it have to be humanoid? Is a Throwbot a kind of mech (they are big compared to minifigs, they have battles, and most are (...) (24 years ago, 22-Oct-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.mecha)
