    Ghetto Lego? —Sergio Guerra
Hi, Just an idea. Wouldn't it be weird if someone(not TLG) made an old ghetto- like town? Imagine slightly damaged buildings and armed gangs living in a high crime part of Legoland Town. The gang figs would have backwards caps, hehe. This would (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

(...) ~ definitely a MOCreation! a little bit tamer, but i've always wanted to build a lego model of the "sanford & son" junk yard... ;-) later ~ craig~ (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

(...) Hey Craig, Great idea! I've built a lego junkyard before, and it was populated by a gang. I can see it now. An unsuspecting garbage-dude parks his car outside the junkyard, and takes the bags of garbage in the truck to the junkyard and then a (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-03, to lugnet.town)

        Re: Ghetto Lego? —Silas Pierrot
Thats what I use the old lego from my childhood for. Most bricks have teethmarks, the white bricks are yellowed, and some even have chips (I now regret the abuse I gave to my Lego as a kid) run down, dirty bricks for run down dirty buildings. Silas (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

        Re: Ghetto Lego? —Chuck Rex
(...) My Legoland town is *exactly* like this. There needs to be some reason for the million or so police sets. And there are enough knifes and pistols and rifles and masks floating around. And shifty unshaved minifig heads. And on and on. Junkyards (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

(...) high (...) I know what you mean about the police sets. I have only bought one police station (the last non-juniorised one) but I have no end of cars, motorbikes, helicoptors and vans, all bought separately. I was recetly wondering what to do (...)           Re: Ghetto Lego? —Timothy Jones
(...) Lucky! I only have 2 motorbikes, 2 helicopters, 1 car, and 1 tractor trailer in sets for my police; however, I have accumulated maybe 15 officers. (...) I know what you mean about that. Almost everything you make in Lego looks super-new; an (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

I only have 2 motorbikes, 2 helicopters, 1 car, and 1 tractor trailer (...) I myself have alot of Police sets but in SPINCity only 1 Police Rover, 1 Police Humvee, 1 old police car, 1 police station, & enough officers to have security in many (...)      (...) Thats what I'm talking about. More realistic town. Legoland Town becomes more interesting this way. The knives and pistols are a great idea.hehe. They make the gangs a force to be reckoned with. Also, the 1x3 brick with jambox printing has a (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

(...) Hey Sergio, I haven't tried it personally, but I do have some tips. First,to get that run-down or falling apart, try only using dark colors like dark grey, light grey or black. Also, buy sets like escape from Privet Drive,Bandit's wheel (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-03, to lugnet.town)
