I thought its better to repost the information as its getting confusing with
trying to read all of the new types in the post
There is some new information below, also a not to Lego Direct.
The Trans represent the same colour as a normal Mask Colour

transyellow - Yellow "No Yellow mask Yet" - but there is transyellow on Gali
transblack - Black
transdarkblue - Dark Blue
translightblue - Light Blue
transred - Red
transgreen - Green
transorange - Orange
transclear - White
there might be more, but represent the basic colour- like transneon is light
green
These are the known ones that i have found or seen
Here is the layout of below part
Basic colour - bionicle it belongs to - and transcolour for Gali masks
Prime - as seen on the Toa's out now

But looking at the scans that i have of the new kits out later this year,
there appears to be
Purple and Light Blue Pakari on 8548 Nui Jaga

Light Red - i saw the translight red on Xtain's site -

have been told, this will apply to the Toa's and Turga's only colours so the
following may be infected

I do not believe Lego will try to release all of the different types of
infected masks and in different colours as infected types
This is a clip from the website "When Kanohi Masks of Power are tainted by
Makuta, they become "infected masks". Infected masks appear scarred, pitted,
and rusted." - note a Black Hau is shown
IMPORTANT
------------------
Gold - Yes Gold, as far as i know, there is a competition for the gold masks
on the website, But Lego insiders can't agree to release Full 24Carat Gold
or gold plated masks to the winners, what mask will be made in gold or how
many will there be, i yet to know. I have and am in disussion to try and
release gold plated to the collecters like ourselves. and in the 12
differnent types of masks.
Unknown Masks - As Xtain pointed out that there is a unknown mask on the
back of pack 8530 Extra Masks

"There may be several other "rare"masks (like the mystery one on the poster)
that might be very difficult to find. If you really want to collect
everything, it will be a real challenge
-- but if you just want to collect the basic set, it's probably not so
hard."
So it looks like more to come,
I am starting to think that this is going to be one big job to get all of
these "masks"
If there is any colours or new masks i will add it to the list, i am making
something that will help me in the different types that there are.

How many "Rare Masks" will there be?
What about the gold ones?

The clear mask only appeared in the new batch of masks, while the lightblue one appeared with the old batch of masks. This might be a hint that Kopaka's (...) I first heard about the Gold masks on Christian's website (www.brickmaster.de) Because who wouldn't want to have a gold (...) (23 years ago, 4-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)
