Some little Mata-nui errors and suprizes

Ok first of all I guess that everyone was looking at the screen with a "I just saw the Toa vs Makuta fight and WOW!" face to notice this You do not ahve to talk to vakama you can walk away and take the boat to Ga-koro. sadly there is nothing (...) Good point about the animations. Course, without that, they couldn't really walk... (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: LEGO makes Bionicle film, Premiere 2003

(...) Agreed. Though to be completely honest, they DID take some liberties in the CG versions. The arms and legs can bend, the heads can turn, they can stick their weapons on their back. In effect I guess the sets are "action figure" versions of the (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: LEGO makes Bionicle film, Premiere 2003

The toys were designed along with the story. They are not "here's what it would look like made of Legos" they ARE the Toa. That's why they looked like that in every other thing ever made of them in CG. There's no point to the masks, the Turaga, (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: LEGO makes Bionicle film, Premiere 2003

(...) I do not follow Bionicle very much so I don't know the plot on the CD. But if the CG on the CD is like the ones in the adverts, then a movie of this would be good as a mini series on CITV. However in my opinion the Bionicle franchise is worth (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Bionicle Avatar pictures flooding BrickShelf

(...) That's a great idea. One perhaps undesireable side effect is that some folders could lurk unnoticed. Two galleries to choose from? One the same as it is now and the other containing the volunteered new content. While I'm dreaming, why not a (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Bionicle Avatar pictures flooding BrickShelf

(...) That is just your opinion. What gives you the right to post what you want (a MOC, etc) and say that is more Lego related than what some person does with an Avatar which is nothing more than an image of a Bionicle character? Both are Lego. (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Bionicle Avatar pictures flooding BrickShelf

(...) How about a suggestion to Kevin that the recent gallery not get things sent to it unless the user explicitly checks a box to do it? That way when you reorged your folders it wouldn't cause flooding. (24 years ago, 6-Jan-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Bionicle Avatar pictures flooding BrickShelf

(...) While I do agree with you that the TOS may need to be re-looked at, I still would have to say that these avatar images ARE Bionicle (hence LEGO, by your own admission), and as such, allowable. And, while this may have been one of your points, (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

<snip> (...) I'd just like to chime in here. While I agree with Jon's original post (that these avatar pics are getting very old), I also understand that they aren't doing anything wrong.
