  Re: Special project

Actually, I meant this piece: (URL) one that holds the two fingers in. Suddenly I have an urge to put these giant gripping hands (or something quite similar) to all of my Toa. Although, they really do fit Pohatu the best I think. According to (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Limited Edition Bioncile Pen...

(...) Actually, I called the LIC-Anaheim on Monday. They aren't selling the pens. I ordered mine from LEGOLAND CA. Russell (25 years ago, 5-Oct-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Limited Edition Bioncile Pen...

I'll be at LIC-Anaheim, and maybe LLC, in about 2-3 weeks, so I can keep an eye out for them. It would be useful to know how many people are interested in having a pen, though (at cost plus shipping plus, say, $1-2?), so I don't end up buying too (...)   Re: Limited Edition Bioncile Pen...

(...) Yeah Tom...Michael and Xtian have a pic on their head page (at the bottom): (URL) of the mini-masks like the production pens, but cool in it (somewhat) limited nature...It's also at LLC, and I assume at LIC-Anaheim...mayhaps one of the LUGOLA (...)   Limited Edition Bioncile Pen available at Georgia Outlet

Yup, they have that supposedly rare pen that is only available at Mcdonalds in southern California. It is $9.95. (706)216-2800 They can ship items to you. They are only open for a few more hours tonight, so if you want one hurry! -Rich (25 years ago, 4-Oct-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Dark Onua-Lord of the Night

Wow! Very cool Dave! I like the claws; you've used those Bionicle pieces nicely. The four arms are great as well; creative and scary. The backpack looks good, as well. ;-) (...) I (...) no (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Dark Onua-Lord of the Night

Thanks! My collection of Technic wing parts (hint) was growing too rapidly for me to ignore for much longer. I just needed an excuse to pull out all the black ones (larger are from Blaster, smaller are from Boss). As far as the foot coverings are (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Special project

What I intend to attempt to do is give the kids concepts to work with rather than showing them how to build a particular thing. However, since I'll be working with a "finished" product they'll have something they can take home themselves. In other (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Dark Onua-Lord of the Night

That's pretty cool Dave! I especially like the jet pack. Whatever those pieces are called, they make for great wings/general body enlarging parts ( I hope you know which ones I'm talking about - they are hard to describe). I wish I had more of them. (...)   Re: crazy kids

Wal-Mart seems to be worse than any other store for opened packages, but it just has a bad vibe. I try not to go there in the daylight when it is particularly busy. A brief check of the Kanohi boxes I have lying around seem to show that the US boxes (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Special project

Thanks Benjamin, I appreciate the input. The #3 pieces (if that's what you mean) come in several different colors. I have black, beige and white. I don't know if they come in other colors or not. I've used all the ones I have to make hands and I (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Dark Onua-Lord of the Night

Feeling truely inspired by Mark Chan's Super Toa- (URL) I decided to tackle the one I didn't see: Onua. Oddly enough, I had the prototype jetpack built months before Onua was even available. I had no idea it would become part of this creation. The (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: crazy kids

(...) I've only ever found 1 of the UK foil packet versions opened, and I don't believe for a minute that kids over here are any less hooligan than kids in the USA! Maybe you can't subtly rip them open like you can with a box. As a side line, I want (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Yeah, the Pit Droid hands are way hip. When I picked up a copy of him a few weeks ago my friend shouted "He has such awesome hands!" before I even bothered to open him. Sure enough, she was right!   crazy kids

I just picked up two more packages of Kanohi from a local Wal Mart. Every single pack had been opened partially by hooligan kids (I mentioned this to an employee after I helped a woman pick out Toa for a gift and she just sighed and said "Kids are (...)
