They're also in 8010 Darth Vader. A 1x2 liftarm is part I've been wanting

They're better (in some respects) than an ordinary ball-n-socket because
they have "click-stops". This helps to restrain movement so that the joint
holds its shape.

No. The rotation is also "clickable" which means it holds its shape quite well.

Yes it was! At one point I pulled down too many boxes and it was "raining"
SW Lego sets!

| (...) A project I'm working on could sure use them to decrease bulk a tad, but that would restrain my budget. It's too early in the building stage to know if I'll keep the design as is or totally rebuild it. Other than this time I don't remember me (...) (23 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)
