Yes, great show. Or at least it was. The current series (the 4th?) seems to
have taken too many cues from a dreadful American import show they showed in
the UK last year. There's now more talk and flashy graphics than fighting.

(...) Robot Wars was a British show originally, hosted by Craig Charles (the actor who plays Lister on "Red Dwarf"). It's quite good. The US Robot Wars, which is on "The New TNN" (not TNT), uses the same sets as the UK show, and the same house (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.technic)
