  Anyone else UNIMPRESSED with the new tech sets?
 
To be totally honest I don't get the whole hype about the new technic sets (the two off-road cars). I mean, what's so great about them? (...) A pneumatic valve akin to the average power steering cylinder would be nice. Or even one like the valves on steam engines. Something which isn't too hard to switch & has a very small "dead centre", so you can use it for feedback control. ROSCO (23 years ago, 22-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I was in the cave back in the 8880's days so I'd like to get my hands of the off-road version ,) I really hope for a snug way to get both power and steering. And if it uses special parts like in 8880 so be it. If it could just be implemented (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic)
