  Spring/elastic wind-up engine
 
Does anybody have any links to a Technic engine/transmission similar to those found in wind-up toy cars? I realize that it isn't as simple as winding an elastic around an axle since a clutch mechanism would have to be used to allow the drive (...) (23 years ago, 15-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Sorry, I know following up my own post is a little weird, but allow me to clarify what I mean by "wind-up toy car": I'm thinking more along the lines of those cars that are wound up by rolling them backwards, and then zoom forwards once (...) (23 years ago, 15-May-01, to lugnet.technic)
